As of this posting, the Department of Culture Facebook group has welcomed over 3,285, 3,363, 3,392… Members. This is a forum for you to share your creative thoughts about how to get the message out to your friends and neighbours in your riding and across the country. We ask that you look at what has been posted and contribute your ideas for creative action. The following is a selection of the discussion topics currently up and running.
ACTIONS BY ARTISTS
What are some of the actions that all of you artists out there are planning to do? What are your ideas for actions? What are you going to do that shows of your wit, your imagination, your disdain for the Conservative party in your hood?

Please let us know what you, the artists and other culturally creative people, are doing in your riding to turn the tide on the Tory Blues. Who are you meeting with (social and cultural agencies, immigrant service groups, art galleries, performing arts companies, labour groups, environmental associations, progressive ngo’s)? What are you organizing? What are you producing?

Share some ideas from your friends and allies that you can do with relative ease and a sense of verve to make change in those in between times when you have been hard at work in the studio, the office, the factory floor, the drop in centre, the community hall or wherever else you work to make this country a better place for us all.
