We are not going to disappear.

After properly digesting the last insane and incredible seven weeks we will come up with a new game plan. There is a lot of momentum here.  It will not be wasted.

Thanks to everyone in the GTA who came out to the Gladstone Hotel for our election celebration.

Kudos to Rebecca Campbell and Craig Stephen for their brilliant live mixing of Prime Minister Harper’s victory speech with Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing.  We also managed to enjoy ourselves earlier in the evening, listing out loud all of our accomplishments and the names of hundreds of participants in this massive cross-disciplinary project that successfully combined art and meaningful political participation across the country. CP24 broadcast live from the party twice, and InsideToronto dropped by as part of their election night coverage.  Read the article by clicking the link below:

If you’re feeling down about another Conservative government, there are lots of folks like Globe and Mail theatre critic, J. Kelly Nestruck, who believe Canadians have artists to thank for preventing a Harper Majority.

How sure is Nestruck?  After winning his “office” - please tell us you took Jeffrey Simpson’s money - election pool, he is donating the winnings to the Actors’ Fund of Canada.  This timely donation of $280 comes just in time to buy the actors that fancy gala they’ve been saving for.  Read the whole post on the Globe and Mail’s theatre blog by clicking the link below:
